Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Automation Developer with deep expertise in automating operational processes and infrastructure products across cloud, network, virtualization, and storage environments. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional passionate about leveraging AI-driven tools and intelligent automation to transform enterprise operations.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience in Python, Ansible, RESTful APIs, and infrastructure automation, along with a strategic understanding of cloud platforms, networking, and storage technologies. Experience with AI-based automation platforms and tools is highly valued.

This position offers the opportunity to lead automation initiatives, mentor others, and serve as a key technical escalation point in a collaborative, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operational Automation

  • Design and implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management across cloud, network, and storage platforms.

  • Develop reusable automation modules using Python, Ansible, and AI-powered orchestration tools to streamline operational workflows.

  • Drive adoption of infrastructure-as-code and intelligent automation to improve consistency, scalability, and compliance.

  • Identify and eliminate manual processes through predictive and adaptive automation strategies.

AI-Driven Automation

  • Integrate AI tools and platforms to enhance automation capabilities, including anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and intelligent decision-making.

  • Collaborate with data science and platform teams to embed machine learning models into automation pipelines.

  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools for applicability in infrastructure and operational automation.

Cloud, Network & Storage Product Automation

  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and optimization of cloud-native and hybrid environments.

  • Enable self-service capabilities through automation of network and storage provisioning and management.

  • Ensure automation solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

  • Act as a technical mentor and guide for automation engineers and developers.

  • Partner with architects and product owners to design automation strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Introduce new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance automation capabilities and team productivity.

Governance, Compliance & Data Management

  • Establish automation standards for configuration management, audit readiness, and policy enforcement.

  • Support automated data flow across systems, ensuring integrity, traceability, and compliance.

  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning through automated backup and failover processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering or infrastructure development.

  • Advanced proficiency in:

  • Python and Ansible

  • REST API design and integration

  • Infrastructure automation and orchestration

  • Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Networking and storage automation

Proficiency in these tools are a differential:

  • Nutanix

  • ServiceNow

  • VMWare Suite (NSX, VCenter, VCF)

  • Zabbix, VRX, Ansible, Netbox

  • Experience with AI tools and platforms for automation (e.g., AIOps, ML-based orchestration, intelligent monitoring).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.

  • Fluent in English; other languages (Portuguese and Spanish) are a plus.
