The Position

We are seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to support our fast-growing SaaS sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn how strategic deals are structured and executed in a modern B2B SaaS environment.


In this role, you'll work closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal to help manage the quote-to-close process, ensure accuracy in pricing and contracts, and contribute to operational efficiency. Youll gain exposure to sales strategy, contract management, and SaaS business models while building a strong foundation for future growth in Sales Operations.

Responsibilities

Deal Structuring & Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the sales team for deal strategy, pricing, and contract structuring.
  • Review and approve non-standard terms within defined approval thresholds.
  • Ensure all deals comply with internal approval processes and corporate policies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for deal escalation and resolution.

Process Coordination

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Legal to move deals through the pipeline.
  • Maintain organized records of deal approvals and supporting documentation.
  • Support end-of-quarter deal reviews and closing activities.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Product teams to ensure timely contract reviews and approvals.
  • Ensure deal packages are complete, accurate, and compliant with revenue recognition policies.
  • Manage product listings and update pricing in CRM.

Policy & Governance

  • Maintain pricing, discounting, and commercial term guidelines.
  • Enforce deal desk policies and work with management to update them as the business evolves.

Data, Reporting & Insights

  • Track and report on deal desk metrics including deal cycle time, discount trends, and win/loss data.
  • Provide actionable insights to Sales leadership on deal velocity, pricing effectiveness, and pipeline risks.
  • Support forecasting accuracy through deal validation and CRM hygiene.
  • Prepare and deliver ad-hoc reports to key stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.

Process Optimization & Governance

  • Identify bottlenecks in the deal process and recommend improvements.
  • Drive automation and process enhancements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve deal desk playbooks, approval matrices, and pricing policies.

Requirements

  • 2 5 years of professional experience in sales support, sales operations, finance, or related business roles (internships count!)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with contract review, revenue recognition principles, and compliance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Fluency in German an asset.
