The OpportunityWe're growing in the Red Deer region and are looking for a Turnaround Manager to join our team and lead the planning and execution of complex industrial turnarounds. With OCL's strong presence in Western Canada and a growing pipeline of work, this is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to shape the success of our turnaround services in the Central Alberta region. You'll have the support of a dedicated team and the autonomy to implement best practices, develop innovative execution strategies, and leave your mark on a critical area of our business.

- Lead the planning, execution, and close-out of turnaround projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Develop comprehensive work plans, resource schedules, and cost estimates.
- Build and manage multidisciplinary teams including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Liaise with clients to define requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement in turnaround processes and project delivery.
- Report on project progress, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in maintenance and turnarounds.
- Strong ability to read and understand drawings, technical documents, and contracts.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance and turnaround-specific construction practices.
- Relevant designation (P.Eng., C.E.T., or Red Seal trade certification) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large-scale maintenance and turnaround projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing business unit financials.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
