POSITION: Assistant General Manager

JOB TYPE: Full Time

AVAILABILITY REQUIRED: Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays

LOCATION: Grande Prairie, Alberta

SALARY/WAGE: $22.00/Hour + Gratuities

JOB SUMMARY:

The Agency is partnering with Boston Pizza with the recruitment of two Assistant General Managers.
Boston Pizza is seeking two Assistant General Managers to join their dynamic team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
  • Manage, motivate, and train a team of staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Ensure every guest leaves with a smile by handling feedback and resolving any and all issues
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Manage inventory and order supplies
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met
  • Maintain efficient restaurant operations
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting and cost control
  • Improve operational efficiencies to drive profitability
  • Support local marketing and initiatives and special events
  • Participate in community outreach programs to increase brand awareness and boost sales
  • Maintain team morale and guest satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or in a leadership role in a high-volume restaurant environment is preferred
  • Certifications considered an asset:
    • Proserve - AGLC
    • Food Safety - AHS
    • Reel Facts - AGLC
    • Protech - AGLC
    • First Aid - St. Johns or equivalent
  • Clean criminal record check
  • Valid class 5 drivers license
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Expertise in customer service, consistently exceeding guest expectations
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a passion for continuous learning and development
  • A people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment
