QUALIFICATIONS:
- A demonstrated knowledge of math up to and including pre-calculus.
- Experience either teaching or learning within the British Columbia, Canadian elementary or secondary education system
- A passion for teaching kids!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Just Teaching. No Lesson Plans. No Preparation.
- Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment.
- Display a positive attitude, and demonstrate enthusiasm for math.
- Supervise, interact with, and motivate students.
- Reward students for completed work, and especially for demonstrated mastery.
- Evaluate and document student progress.
- Communicate student needs to the Center Director.
AVAILABILITY:
- Successful candidates will be available 10-20 hours per week.
- Working hours generally fall between 3:00 and 7:00 PM Monday-Friday.
