We are hiring on behalf of a major IT services firm supporting a top-tier, U.S.-based full-service investment bank and capital markets company. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a seasoned Business Analyst with deep expertise in Fidessa or Ullink platforms and a strong background in Securities Lending (Stock Loan) operations.

About the Role
In this hybrid role (3 days onsite in Mississauga), you will serve as a key liaison between the trading/front office teams and technology groups, helping drive critical improvements across securities lending workflows. You'll work closely with stakeholders across business, operations, and IT to ensure that requirements are clearly defined, processes are optimized, and system implementations are delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements related to securities lending workflows on Fidessa or Ullink platforms.
• Map current-state processes and identify opportunities to enhance trading, settlement, and post-trade operations.
• Collaborate with traders, operations teams, developers, and third-party vendors to improve functionality and resolve issues.
• Support platform changes including testing (UAT), rollout, and post-deployment validation.
• Contribute to the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and workflow automation strategies.
• Act as a translator between business users and technology teams, ensuring mutual understanding of objectives and deliverables.
• Ensure all changes align with internal compliance standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the securities or capital markets domain.
• In-depth understanding of stock loan/securities lending operations, settlements, and risk considerations.
• Hands-on experience with Fidessa (Royal Blue/ION) or Ullink (UL Trader) platforms in either trading or post-trade environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks impacting securities lending activities.
