You will

  • Leads the full life cycle of the resident process by advertising suites, stays informed of local market rents, conducting property tours to prospective residents, rental applications, conducting background and credit checks, facilitate the signing of all leases (including rental of storage & parking) and providing welcome or move out packages to residents.
  • Input invoices into Yardi and prepare purchase orders as required
  • Follow up and collect monthly rents and maintain all tenant records
  • Ensure all residents provide copies of their insurance policies
  • Prepare and deliver all Resident Notices (late rent, eviction notices, building info, etc)
  • Manage building parking and storage rentals, co-ordinate elevator & amenity bookings and supervise use of amenity areas
  • Maintain up to date building contact lists for residents and contractors and assist in maintaining building maintenance files
  • Deliver an exemplary level of customer service by responding professionally and promptly to resident inquiries
  • Prepares and completes all the move in and move out packages
  • Complete move in and move out inspections
  • Complete all the maintenance requests
  • Weekly walkthrough of the properties to ensure it meets our standards
  • Program security fobs as required and ensure the property in safe and secure at all times.
  • Provide weekly reports as required by the Property Manager and Director
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Property Manager and Director
  • Attend periodic staff meetings
  • Assist in preparing and attending tenant events

You have

  • Minimum of 3 years residential rental experience
  • Strong understanding of BC Residential Tenancy Act and its application
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter and able to work without direction and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and Yardi Rent Caf would be an asset

Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000
