Role Description:The Marketing Specialist is a dynamic, results-driven professional responsible for coordinating and executing marketing initiatives for Kal Tire's Mining Tire Group (MTG). This role plays a key part in implementing marketing campaigns, managing digital platforms, and coordinating internal and external efforts to support MTG's marketing objectives. It requires foundational knowledge of marketing principles, digital measurement paired with excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This 1-Year, Temporary Full-Time Maternity Leave Coverage will be based out of our Vernon, BC office.
Responsibilities:Advertising / Media Relations:
  • Coordinate the execution of media buys, ensuring ads are developed and delivered on time.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of paid media campaigns across platforms, ensuring accurate tracking and delivering actionable insights.
  • Support media relations with tracking and supply photo requests.
  • Post all earned media on the MTG external website and the internal marketing SharePoint site.
Marketing:
  • Ensure timely production and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Support international team members with graphic requests including regional trade show assets, presentations, videos and other design-related materials.
  • Maintain the internal marketing SharePoint site.
  • Support MTG trade show preparation through contributing to end-to-end logistics including booth planning, vendor coordination, and asset preparation.
Digital Marketing and Website:
  • Manage the day-to-day of the MTG LinkedIn page, including content planning support, development, publishing and engagement.
  • In collaboration with internal team, plan, execute and optimize paid LinkedIn and Google Ad campaigns aligned with regional and international objectives.
  • Maintain and update the MTG WordPress website, including the management of multi-language content and publication of new material.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on website and campaign performance using Google Analytics 4, delivering insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external vendors to support marketing execution, ensuring consistency with Kal Tire's brand standards and messaging.
Other:
  • Development of a monthly report of website, campaign and LinkedIn activities (organic and paid).
  • Collect and curate stories from international teams for the bi-monthly MTG newsletter; improve newsletter design and manage the translation, production, and distribution process.
  • Manage business card requests from across the Mining Tire Group.
  • Coordinate all translation needs (using external translators).
  • Invoice processing and budget tracking.
  • Support other marketing-related initiatives as required.

Job Requirements:Work Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience executing digital marketing campaigns and managing social media platforms.
  • Experience coordinating trade shows, events, and vendor relationships considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in online marketing platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Google Analytics 4.
  • Strong working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is an asset.
  • Spanish and/or French language skills considered an asset but not required.

Education:
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or business.

Special Requirements:
  • Ability to travel as required.
