Employment: Full Time

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00/hr

Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. 3-month probation and review.

Start Date: June 16, 2025

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Front of House Supervisor to lead our front-of-house operations. This position plays a vital role in shaping the customer experience and ensuring smooth day-to-day service. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, skilled in team leadership, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.

What Youll Do

  • Team Leadership & Staff Management
    • Supervise, coordinate, and support front-of-house team members including servers, hosts, baristas, and cashiers
    • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
    • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members
  • Guest Experience & Customer Service
    • Greet and engage with guests to provide an exceptional and welcoming experience
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
    • Promote a warm, inclusive, and efficient dining atmosphere
  • Operations & Coordination
    • Manage guest flow and table turnover, including seating arrangements and reservation coordination
    • Ensure front-of-house areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing
    • Collaborate closely with kitchen and back-of-house staff to coordinate service timing and guest satisfaction
  • Inventory & Financial Oversight
    • Monitor and replenish supplies (soft drinks, menus, condiments, etc.)
    • Oversee accurate cash handling and financial transactions, balancing tills and managing cashouts
  • Training & Compliance
    • Onboard and train new team members
    • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations
    • Assist with daily opening and closing procedures

  • Proficient in handling POS systems and basic financial transactions

Additional Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or a related field is an asset
  • First Aid/CPR and/or Food Safe certification preferred
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a hospitality or customer service role
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a restaurant, caf, or similar environment strongly preferred
