Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: The Safe Cafe

Employment: Part Time, 20 hrs/wk

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 / hour

Hours: Between 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. 3-month probation and review.

Start Date: June 16, 2025

Are you someone who loves coffee, connection, and community? We're hiring aJr. Barista to join our front-of-house team! This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to build their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment while delivering great service and even better lattes.

What Youll Do

Crafting espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages

Greeting guests and creating a warm, welcoming caf atmosphere

Supporting team members in keeping the caf tidy and well-stocked

Taking and processing orders with accuracy and efficiency

Learning the art of great coffeeand how to work under pressure with style

Who You Are

Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to learn

Able to stay calm and organized in a busy setting

A strong communicator and team player

Committed to punctuality, cleanliness, and hospitality

What You Bring

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Able to follow detailed instructions and standard drink recipes

Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

No formal education required

Additional Requirements

Food Safe Level 1 (or willingness to obtain) preferred

Barista or customer service experience is an asset, but not requiredtraining provided!
