Our client, a major Canadian financial institution with a national presence and global reputation, is looking to hire a Senior Business Systems Analyst who serves as a technical liaison between business units and technology teams, delivering system-level business requirements for complex, high-risk, or strategic initiatives. This role guides the end-to-end process of requirements management from planning through solution delivery, requiring deep expertise in systems analysis, domain knowledge, and a collaborative approach to drive innovation, efficiency, and value.

What You'll Do
System Requirements Management:

• Plan, elicit, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements
  
• Lead requirements traceability through design, development, testing, and deployment
  
• Ensure acceptance criteria demonstrate system changes meet stakeholder expectations
  

Technical & Business Collaboration

• Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to identify solutions supporting business goals
  
• Provide guidance on system integration impacts and future-state design
  
• Serve as a subject matter expert in both business operations and system architecture
  

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Translate requirements into test conditions and support user acceptance testing
  
• Promote scalable, reusable, and innovative solutions aligned to enterprise standards
  

Operational & Strategic Support

• Support implementation and post-implementation activities
  
• Participate in business case development, vendor RFPs, and SLAs
  
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of system components, interfaces, and data flows
  

Leadership & Innovation

• Provide coaching and mentorship to other analysts
  
• Act as lead analyst on high-risk or strategic projects
  
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in analysis practices and tools
  
• Actively contribute to change management and readiness planning
  

RequirementsWhat You Bring
Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in business systems analysis or related technology functions
  
• Demonstrated success delivering requirements for enterprise-scale initiatives in Agile and Waterfall environments
