Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Developer Relations (DeFi) - this is a fully-remote role and candidates can be based in PST-GST timezones.

We are building programmable financial infrastructure for on-chain derivatives and structured products. We're looking for a Developer Relations Lead to grow and support the external developer ecosystem around our protocol. This is a unique opportunity to combine deep technical understanding of DeFi with community-building, content creation, and ecosystem development. As the first DevRel hire, you'll serve as a bridge between our protocol engineering team and the broader builder community — from integration partners and hackathon participants to institutional developers building on our primitives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a public technical voice to external developers and partners.

• Create and maintain high-quality documentation, sample code, SDKs, and tutorials.

• Build relationships with DeFi developers, protocol integrators, and ecosystem contributors.

• Represent us at conferences, hackathons, AMAs, and online developer forums.

• Collect and surface developer feedback to inform product and protocol roadmap.

• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure dev-first tooling and APIs.

• Act as main point of contact between us and it's core asset issuer partners and institutional funds.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years experience in smart contract or DeFi development (or deep technical understanding of EVM protocols).

• Excellent communication skills and experience translating complex ideas into developer-friendly content.

• Demonstrated presence in Web3 / DeFi communities (e.g., GitHub, X/Twitter, Discord, ETHGlobal, etc.).

• Experience creating educational materials: blogs, workshops, videos, or live coding sessions.

• Ability to engage both builders and institutions in thoughtful, technical conversations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Past experience in Developer Relations, Dev Advocacy, or Developer Education roles.

• Familiarity with vault-based DeFi systems, derivatives, and yield primitives.

• Comfortable using frameworks like Foundry, Hardhat, and interacting with smart contracts.
