The successful candidate will be responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and repairing malfunctioning equipment according to company plans in our Orillia location, a vibrant community offering a perfect blend of work-life balance.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
- Repair any problems associated with equipment.
- Fabricate new machine parts if original parts are missing or damaged.
- Identify and correct any problems found in machines, equipment, or processes in order to facilitate production.
- Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Perform preventative maintenance once the machines and equipment are put into operation.
- Complete all paperwork as required.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.
- Demonstrate awareness of and follow all food safety policies.
- Follow the requirements defined by the client and Orillia's QMS.
- Support key departmental objectives and our QMS.

- Completion of grade 12 or equivalent.
- Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program.

- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabricating.
This position offers a 10-hour rotation with day shifts. Enjoy biweekly pay and overtime after 80 hours in a two-week period.
