We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Product Manager to join our team on an 18-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the development and success of our Merchant Portal and Order Management System (OMS) product. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead product management efforts within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Merchant Portal and OMS product.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and engineering teams to gather and prioritize product requirements for the Merchant Portal and OMS.
- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development process for the Merchant Portal and OMS, from ideation and design to development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
- Solutioning & User Experience: Collaborate with UX designers and Engineers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the Merchant Portal and OMS that deliver a seamless user experience for merchants and internal teams. You will use methods like sketching, breadboarding and fat-markers to ideate product solutions.
- Product Launches: Plan and execute successful product launches for the Merchant Portal and OMS, including coordinating with operations, account management, and support teams.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to track Merchant Portal and OMS product performance, measure key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure Merchant Portal and OMS product success.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis related to merchant portals and order management systems to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business or Engineering.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to merchant and order management workflows.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Passion for Product: A genuine passion for building great products and delivering exceptional user experiences for merchants and internal users.
- Product Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management or a related role, with a focus on software or web-based products.
- E-commerce/Order Management Knowledge: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, merchant portals, and order management systems is a benefit, but not a requirement.
- Nice to have: Using tools like Linear, Figma and Featurebase (or similar).
