Staffinity is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager for a Canadian client. This is a permanent position with base salary and benefits. The base salary range is 85-105k+ DOE, plus equity. This position will work from a home office. The successful candidates must live in the Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario region.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
- Define project scope, deliverables and requirements.
- Develop and implement project plans.
- Determine resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines. Identify project risks.
- Develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
- Monitor project delivery against timelines.
- Oversee the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion.
- Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients.
- Manage contractors, tradespeople and other stakeholders.
- Drive new business.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of construction project management work experience.
- 2+ years of residential, construction, renovation, preferred.
- 3+ years of business development experience.
- Ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and within specifications.
- Experience developing and managing project budgets.
- Solid ability to mitigate and manage project risks
- Advanced ability to manage client relationships and expectations
- A high degree of client service orientation
- Computer proficiency in MS Office applications in particular – MS Project, MS Excel, MS Outlook, along with ability to quickly learn new applications.
