Staffinity is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager for a Canadian client. This is a permanent position with base salary and benefits. The base salary range is 85-105k+ DOE, plus equity. This position will work from a home office. The successful candidates must live in the Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario region.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
  • Define project scope, deliverables and requirements.
  • Develop and implement project plans.
  • Determine resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines. Identify project risks.
  • Develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Monitor project delivery against timelines.
  • Oversee the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion.
  • Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients.
  • Manage contractors, tradespeople and other stakeholders.
  • Drive new business.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of construction project management work experience.
  • 2+ years of residential, construction, renovation, preferred.
  • 3+ years of business development experience.
  • Ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and within specifications.
  • Experience developing and managing project budgets.
  • Solid ability to mitigate and manage project risks
  • Advanced ability to manage client relationships and expectations
  • A high degree of client service orientation
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office applications in particular – MS Project, MS Excel, MS Outlook, along with ability to quickly learn new applications.
