Envision yourself at BarracudaAs a Senior Network Engineer, you are joining a team responsible supporting cloud and network solutions. Your role involves designing and reviewing network architectures for both on-premises datacenters and cloud infrastructure, providing technical support, and deploying solution proposals. Strong skills in network and security design, critical thinking, and excellent communication are essential. What you'll be working on

• Provide expertise as a subject matter expert to advise entire IT organization around cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain and improve Barracuda's office and production networks
• Respond to network alarms and notifications, triage, then resolve or escalate as necessary, across the company.
• Design network architectures for on-premises and cloud infrastructure, provide technical guidance, and develop solution proposals.
• Periodic review of development cycle of network systems to meet enterprise requirements.
• Participate in regular reviews of network management logs and other systems to ensure performance, integrity, and network uptime.
• Participate in ongoing revision of company standards for networking and systems.

What you bring to the role

• Significant experience with cloud (AWS, Azure) networking and/or security.
• 7+ years of experience with network design, solution proposal and implementations.
• Experience in maintaining complex local area networks (LANs) & Wide Area Networks (WANs).
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Next Gen Firewall Features like URL, IPS, Malware and content filtering
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in information technology or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of network protocols and have a passion for staying up to date with the latest advancements in technology.
