This is a remote position.

Solution Architects specialize in Microsoft business applications, excelling at operational efficiency and leveraging current and emerging technologies to design innovative solutions. As a client-facing role crucial to overall project success, it entails comprehending complex business transactions, proposing alternative solutions, and translating unique requirements into functional and technical design documents, while fostering trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.

The Solution Architect focuses on deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, particularly ERP solutions like Finance & Supply Chain Management (formerly AX and Axapta) and Business Central (formerly NAV and Navision), along with customer relationship products Customer Engagement and Power Platform. Equipped with deep subject matter expertise, the Architect plays a pivotal role in accurately transferring knowledge from presales discussions to solution design, implementation, and successful go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, integrate, and rollout successful Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for clients, utilizing problem-solving skills.
  • Establish trust with the sales team, collaborating on efforts including estimates, statements of work, data migrations, and integrations.
  • Provide architectural services in an advisory capacity, supporting presales efforts, RFP responses, and proof of concept engagements.
  • Lead Advanced Project discovery and analysis phases when necessary.
  • Guide development resources in larger engagements to ensure the quality and functionality of delivered code aligns with the design.
  • Create and review functional and technical design documents for accuracy and effort estimation.
  • Assist in problem-solving complex support cases as required.
  • Stay updated with Microsoft developments by testing new updates, attending technical conferences, and actively participating in partner previews.
  • Utilize 3rd party/ISV products as needed.
  • Participate in team building and development activities.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • 5+ years hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, Customer Engagement, and Business Central.
  • Experience in analyzing business processes and guiding clients through software selection and discovery processes.
  • 3-5 years technical software experience preferred with knowledge of MS SQL, X++, Morphx, .Net, Power Platform, Web Services, API's.
  • 3-5 years Data modeling and analysis experience, MS SQL, Dataverse.
  • 2+ years of experience providing technical and functional QA/mentoring.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, or equivalent preferred.
  • Microsoft Dynamics D365 functional/architectural certifications desired.
  • Expertise in D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, Customer Engagement, and Power Platform.
  • Integration and migration experience with D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor developers, functional, and business resources.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, numerical, planning, and reasoning abilities.
  • Professional, ethical, and respectful with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Avid learner with a growth mindset focused on continuous upskilling.
  • Willingness and ability to travel; valid passport required.
  • Fluent in English – both verbal and written.
