-Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements and select the type of insulation needed.
- Measure and cut insulating material to the required dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Applying and securing insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
- Fitting insulation around obstructions and between studs and joists.
- Installation of vapor barriers.
- Fabricate metal sheets and apply insulating materials to finish surfaces.
- Has a natural talent for understanding how mechanical systems work and how to operate and maintain machinery effectively.
-Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
12-hour shifts, overtime as per provincial legislation, 6 & 1 rotation, camp accommodations with flight provided from Edmonton or Calgary.
