Our client is looking to add a Sr. Business Analyst on a contract basis to add to their high performing team. The successful candidate will be gathering requirements from various stakeholders in the Information Systems team to understand their needs and impacts in the implementation of an integrated solution for a Requirements Repository, Bug Tracking, Test Case Repository and more. The solution will be standardized for projects as well as maintenance/KTLP (keeping the lights on/fixes and enhancements).

The successful candidate will be gathering requirements from various stakeholders in the Information Systems team to understand their needs and impacts in the implementation of an integrated solution for a Requirements Repository, Bug Tracking, Test Case Repository and more. The solution will be standardized for projects as well as maintenance/KTLP (keeping the lights on/fixes and enhancements).
Experience:
- Experience implementing and maintaining Atlassian solutions for technical teams.
- 10+ years implementing software solutions, supporting through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Including understanding the needs of the various stakeholders throughout that SDLC – despite the initiative being delivered
- Must have Atlassian Experience
- Experience writing integration requirements
- Experience coordinating transition to operations
- Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle: For Waterfall and Agile methodologies and variations thereof (e.g. Wagile); for all teams. That is, not just Dev. But with a deep understanding of the needs of the QA, BA, OCM, Support, and other teams; Requirements Repositories, traceability, sign-off, etc.
- Deep understanding of Atlassian tools - Ideally an Atlassian Admin. At least familiarity to the level of being able to define workflow, schemas, boards, and dashboards for various teams.
- Understanding of the various integration options, e.g. Zephyr plug-ins for QA to be compared to Microsoft Test Manager.
- Understanding of Service Now
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Can deliver a wide range of artifacts.
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- A can-do attitude
