One of our clients in Brampton, ON location is looking for a Design Engineer for their facility.

Shift - Day shift

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical suspension systems for various vehicles, including automobiles, trucks, and off-road vehicles.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify design requirements and specifications.
• Create detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Perform structural analysis and simulation to ensure the integrity and performance of suspension components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful implementation of designs.
• Evaluate and select materials, components, and manufacturing processes for suspension systems.
• Conduct prototype testing and validation to verify design performance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to suspension system design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive or Aerospaceor related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of suspension system design principles, including kinematics, dynamics, and structural analysis.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation software.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials used in suspension system components.
