SUMMARY

he electrician is a motivated, organized, and personable individual willing to contribute his/her experience and expertise in the field. Works alongside the Fire Alarm Solutions Operations Manager to assist in the execution of the upcoming projects. The Electrician is a team player and a vital member of CFLS's Fire Alarm Solutions Team. Organization and accuracy are key factors with respect to safety, correspondence, and performance.

We expect that the Electrician will work within a team environment and be responsible for but limited to the following:

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily work assigned to them for projects.
  • Read, understand and accomplish items listed on Engineered drawings.
  • Service work and repairs on fire alarm and electrical systems / equipment.
  • Installation, verification and testing of systems.
  • Work with junior technicians to provide learning and knowledge transfer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Have a valid 309A Electrical Trade Certificate.
  • 3-5 plus years of experience in the electrical trade field.
  • CFAA Technician or ECAO CERTI-FIRE certified (Preferred).
  • 3-5 plus years of experience in the fire alarm industry (Preferred).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and possess a high level of electronic skills.
  • Knowledgeable on applicable codes and standards.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Able to prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with staff and customers.
  • Keen understanding of customer care.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Efficiency in computer skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Clean drivers abstract and valid G class license.
