Food Service Supervisor

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operation of a high volume airline lounge located at Toronto Pearson Airport. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and managing staff effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a background in hospitality and thrive in a busy fast paced environment. *Duties* * Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive work environment.
* Execute menus in collaboration with chefs, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, implementing best practices for food safety.
* Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
* Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience. *Skills* * Experience in restaurant or hotel management, particularly in food & beverage operations.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience training, coaching and managing staff members.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
* Ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team effectively.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A passion for hospitality and creating enjoyable dining experiences for guests.
