Our client is an innovative technology company developing next-generation clean energy solutions for the residential market. As they continue to expand across North America, they are looking for a Channel Sales Manager – Clean Energy to build and grow a network of installer partners.
This is a hands-on channel sales role focused on recruiting, onboarding and developing installer accounts, helping partners successfully bring new energy technology to their customers and growing those relationships into recurring revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify and recruit new installer and contractor partners.
- Own the partner sales process from initial outreach through signed agreement and activation.
- Educate partners on the technology, value proposition and commercial opportunity.
- Support new partners through their first customer installations, including on-site coaching and troubleshooting.
- Own account-level revenue, pipeline and forecasting.
- Grow existing installer accounts through ongoing relationship management, performance targets and business reviews.
- Coordinate with internal technical, operations, customer service and marketing teams to support partner success.
- Gather market feedback on products, pricing and competition and contribute to the ongoing development of the channel sales strategy.

Must Have Skills:
Qualifications
- 5+ years of channel, partner or field sales experience in solar, energy storage, EV charging, electrical, building products or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and developing installer or contractor partners.
- Proven experience carrying a quota and growing account-level revenue.
- Comfortable working directly with installation crews and partners in the field.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a straightforward, commercially relevant way.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, forecasting and evolving sales processes.
- Willingness to travel for installer visits, customer installations and industry events.

Nice to Have Skills:
Nice to Have
- Residential solar or energy-storage channel experience.
- Existing relationships within the installer/contractor ecosystem.
- Knowledge of permitting, interconnection or incentive programs.
- Spanish fluency, NABCEP certification or a C-10 electrical licence.
