Your role
  • Lead the development of the overall project planning and scheduling strategy, including schedule structure, logic, phasing, milestones, and integration across disciplines.
  • Ensure full schedule integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. Including expertise in Cost and Change Control processes.
  • Lead resource and budget loading activities and ensure Primavera data is properly extracted and shared with cost control.
  • Ensure alignment between schedule, cost, progress measurement, and Earned Value Management (EVM) systems.
  • Issue schedules for both internal and external stakeholders and ensure accurate progress measurement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and control schedule performance, identify variances, analyze earned value impacts, and report critical schedule issues.
  • Lead change control management and ensure accurate progress measurement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior and intermediate planners, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including tools, templates, lessons learned, and best practices.

About you
  • Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling. Experience in engineering and construction projects environment is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong expertise in critical path analysis, progress measurement, Earned Value Management (EVM), and experience in Project planning, analyzing and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, with strong knowledge of integrated project controls systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and confidently with clients, executive stakeholders, and project leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills are required with attention to details.
