What You'll Do:
  • Providing first aid, health counseling, medical referral services, and education to employees and contractors as required preventing and/or managing work and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Manage Medical Programs which include conducting health examinations, screening programs for existing, new hire employees, and return to work employees.
  • Manage the health tracking system and maintain accurate and up to date data and reporting.
  • Lead and facilitate the medical aspects of WCB, Short-Term, Long-Term Case Management, and Accommodation and Disability Cases.
  • Develop protocols, policy and procedures as required, direct contract staff, manage medical budget and maintain the Health Centre equipment and supplies at the ready
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing and/or OHN, RN or LPN certification is required
  • Knowledge and understanding of case management process for Occupational and non-occupational issues
  • Strong safety commitment
  • Ability to maintain records and produce reports related to patient statistics
  • Well-developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability and desire to work effectively as a team member
  • Competence in health tracking software and Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, and Power Point
