What You'll Do:
  • Model our core value of safety by leading and enabling a culture in which you and your team are actively contributing to a safe work environment
  • Support the Senior Manager, MRO in developing and executing category and sub-category strategies for General Industrial Supplies (GIS) and Pipe, Valves & Fittings (PVF) categories, including value identification, supplier analysis, and risk mitigation activities
  • Partner with sites to operationalize results and manage a comprehensive change management strategy across locations
  • Partner closely with site Procurement teams to gather business requirements, understand site-specific risks and opportunities, and translate insights into actionable category plans
  • Lead sourcing events and competitive bid processes for assigned sub categories, ensuring alignment with category strategy, business needs, and Procurement policies
  • Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, total cost of ownership, issue resolution, and preparation of materials for Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Develop and maintain spend analytics, market intelligence, and supplier performance dashboards to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Support the execution of change management activities across sites, helping stakeholders adopt new agreements, processes, and supplier programs
  • Collaborate with Category Specialists and Analysts to ensure accurate data, timely reporting, and strong analytical support for category initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and tracking of category KPIs aligned to Procurement, Business Unit, and site objectives
  • Promote local supplier engagement, community partnerships, and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion priorities in alignment with Nutrien's values and sourcing practices
  • Work cross functionally with Category Management peers, Site Procurement, and Capital Procurement to identify synergies and ensure consistent service delivery across the network
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, project management, engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience supporting or executing sourcing activities within MRO, GIS and PVF categories
  • Strong understanding of source to contract (S2C) and purchase to pay (P2P) processes, with direct experience in competitive sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract execution, and supplier performance management
  • Demonstrated analytical capability, including the ability to interpret data, develop insights, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
  • Experience influencing cross functional teams and supporting change initiatives across multiple sites or business units
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, build strong supplier relationships, and collaborate effectively across a distributed network
  • Desire for experience leading organizational change and transformation processes
