OverviewAtkinsRéalis is hiring a Program Scheduler to join our growing team. This position reports to the Program Controls Director. The Program Scheduler will be responsible for managing project schedules, ensuring accurate, realistic, and logical planning throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves evaluating schedule impacts from proposed changes, identifying schedule conflicts, and maintaining integration with the master program schedule.
This position will be based in our project office in the west end of Toronto supporting a transformative large scale major airport infrastructure project.
Your role- Manage the submittal of project schedules from the contractors and consultants and undertakes critical reviews to confirm that they are accurate, realistic, and logical.
- Evaluate the schedule impact of proposed changes to the projects and/or consultancy agreements in accordance with the contract terms.
- Identify potential and actual project‑level schedule conflicts and works with the project delivery teams to resolve them.
- Maintain client level schedules and collaborates with other program schedulers to align and integrate schedule interfaces feed into the master program schedule.
- Provide schedule reporting and critical path analysis in line with the programs reporting requirements.
- Responsible for undertaking schedule quality assurance and peer reviews.
- Responsible for supporting the QSRA process and working collaboratively with the Risk Manager and the Cost Manager to coordinate inputs.
About you
- Recognized degree in engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Senior Scheduler and minimum 5 years as an Intermediate Scheduler, with scheduling experience for large‑scale international airport infrastructure projects.
- Strong communicator with experience leading scheduling workshops and planning sessions, including collaborating with contractors.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and experienced in creating complex Work Breakdown Structures, integrating multiple schedules/work plans.
- Familiar with schedule quality assurance tools (e.g., Acumen Fuse) and experienced in Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA); background in contracting organizations is an asset.
- Availability to work on site Monday to Friday weekly
Expected compensation for this role is between $128,000 - $148,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
