Staff Supervisor

BGC Regina is seeking a passionate, dependable, and motivated individual to join our Before and After School team as Staff Supervisor for the 2026-2027 school year. In this leadership role, you will support Program Leaders, help maintain high-quality programming, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, schools, and community partners.
Position DetailsThe Before & After School Program Staff Supervisor plays a key role in the daily operations, quality assurance, and ongoing development of BGC Regina's Before & After School Programs. This position provides direct supervision, and support to Program Leaders while ensuring programs are delivered safely, consistently, and in alignment with BGC core values and standards.
The Before and After School Program Staff Supervisor typically works up to 30 hours a week. This position requires regular travel between program sites throughout Regina and occasional overtime to support operational needs. The Staff Supervisor must be available by emergency cell phone between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and may be required to step into program operations when necessary.
BGC Regina operates under the leadership and management structure of BGC Saskatoon. This position is not eligible for the BGC Saskatoon employee benefits program.
What You’ll DoKey responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and ongoing support to Program Leaders and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate programs.
• Support program planning, implementation, and continuous improvement, incorporating participant feedback and aligning with BGC Saskatoon’s mission, values, and quality standards.
• Monitor program quality through regular site visits, evaluations, and staff support, while ensuring compliance with policies, safety requirements, and best practices.
• Collaborate with program management to implement national initiatives, enhance participant experiences, and maintain positive, structured environments for children and youth.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with school administrators, families, community partners, and internal teams to support effective communication and program consistency.
• Assist with program operations, including supply management, reporting, record keeping, scheduling, payroll support, and the coordination of special or full-day programming as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience working with children and youth in a leadership, supervisory, or program coordination role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software.
• HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) and QUEST certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (required - within first two months of employment)
• Employment is conditional upon successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.

Vehicle & Travel RequirementsThis position requires frequent travel between multiple program locations throughout Regina.
Applicants must:

• Hold a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License.
• Be legally authorized to operate a motor vehicle in Saskatchewan.
• Have access to a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel.
• Provide proof of valid driver's license and automobile insurance throughout employment.

Employees using their personal vehicle for work purposes will receive mileage reimbursement in accordance with BGC Saskatoon's mileage reimbursement policy.
