Rival Insurance Technology
Toronto, ON
Détails de l'emploi :
Why You'll Want to Build With Us
- Brains Meet Business: You'll turn messy, real-world business problems into solutions that actually ship. This isn't theoretical analysis, it's work that moves the product forward.
- AI-Powered, Not AI-Hyped: We use AI tools to spot patterns, predict trends, and cut the busywork out of process improvement. You'll get to work with the tech, not just talk about it.
- Your Work Matters: This isn't a requirements-gathering desk job. You'll shape how brokers and insurers experience our platform, end to end.
- Bridge Builder, Not Middleman: You'll sit between business and technical teams and make both sides better for it. Clear communication is the job, not a nice-to-have.
- No Robots in Leadership: We lead with clarity, listen with intention, and back our people to grow. If you're curious, sharp, and like solving real problems with real people, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
- Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and client feedback to identify opportunities for software enhancements.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to optimize workflows, evaluate data patterns, and drive predictive analytics to improve business processes.
- Collaborate with clients, product managers, and development teams to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
- Work alongside Agile development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions that align with business objectives.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend intelligent automation solutions that enhance system performance and user experience.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that delivered solutions meet defined business and functional requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication across the development lifecycle.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance software industry, with expertise in broker management systems and Insurtech.
- Knowledge of Canadian insurance trends in habitation and auto lines.
- Understanding of system integration, including API exchange between carrier systems; familiarity with CSIO standards is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation strategies, with the ability to apply data-driven insights to process improvement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
