Role OverviewAs a Line Cook at SARA, you are responsible for executing dishes with accuracy, consistency and attention to detail. You will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team to ensure smooth service and maintain the high standards expected of the restaurant.This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cooking, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across all dishes
  • Set up and manage your station efficiently during prep and service
  • Ensure all food is handled, stored and prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workstation
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to support smooth service
  • Assist with prep work, including ingredient preparation and portioning
  • Support inventory management and notify leadership of low stock or product issues
  • Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen preferred
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
