Role OverviewAs a Line Cook at SARA, you are responsible for executing dishes with accuracy, consistency and attention to detail. You will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team to ensure smooth service and maintain the high standards expected of the restaurant.This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cooking, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across all dishes
- Set up and manage your station efficiently during prep and service
- Ensure all food is handled, stored and prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workstation
- Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to support smooth service
- Assist with prep work, including ingredient preparation and portioning
- Support inventory management and notify leadership of low stock or product issues
- Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen preferred
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
