The purchasing department of the automotive division is currently seeking a Planner - Buyer to join its dynamic team. You stand out for your analytical skills, rigor, dynamism, and strong adaptability.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing procurement to meet regular, seasonal, and promotional needs;
  • Maintaining and optimizing the replenishment system parameters to ensure desired service levels while achieving appropriate inventory turnover;
  • Analyzing forecast exceptions, seasonal fluctuations, and customer purchasing habits, and making necessary adjustments;
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects to optimize the operations of the department as well as other areas of the company;
  • Ensuring effective communication with product departments, distribution centers, stores, and suppliers to achieve established service objectives.

Qualifications

Profile sought to join our team:

  • A degree in operations management, mathematics, administration, or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, as you will regularly collaborate with internal clients across Canada;
  • Knowledge of procurement software such as Manhattan IO, AS 400, ISeries, IBMi (an asset);
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical tools or languages, such as SQL (an asset).
