Silviculture Assistant (Student) - Summer 2027

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our CNB Woodlands team is looking for a Silviculture Assistant (Summer Student) to join us for Summer 2027. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on forestry experience while working alongside experienced professionals and supporting silviculture activities across Central New Brunswick.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring silviculture contractors and operators are following safety and quality standards
• Monitoring the implementation of various silviculture treatments (planting, plantation cleaning, vegetation management)
• Assisting with operational planning and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a Forestry, Forest Technology or related post-secondary program
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Class 5 driver's license or ability to obtain one prior to employment
