JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful applicant should be able to work independently and able to drive change within the operation as well as identify and implement improvements that support the operation. Will also be responsible for managing a small team of high performing individuals with a specific responsibility of business analytics, system enhancements and performance, fuel optimization and pricing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure, manage, maintain, and continuously improve the business application in support of business process
- Ensuring that all applicable system features and functionality are being leveraged by the business
- Manage environments to ensure integrity, performance, accessibility, and recoverability of data
- Supports application life cycle work which can include patching, upgrades, testing, developing test cases, etc.
- In-house, first level support to resolve application or data issues
- Provide insight to business through reporting and data visualizations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate Degree preferred
- 5+ years work experience in a business environment
- 3+ years experience managing end user computing systems Knowledge of Alteryx, Cognos,
- Power BI or Tableau considered an asset
- Demonstrates high attention to detail
- Previous supervisory or management experience considered and asset
- Ability to multitask and pivot from one initiative to the next
- Can manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Must be team oriented and an independent self-starter
- Experience in Transportation & Logistics Industry would be considered an asset
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement strategy certification
