JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team by taking customer orders and working as a common link between the customer, sales & operations. The Sales Support Coordinator provides assistance directly to the Sales Team with constant customer focus to meet the needs of clients.
Work Location: Kentville, NS

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with soil sampling, tissue sampling and crop scouting
• Delivery of customer orders
• Assist in sales of fertilizer, crop protectants, see and other agricultural supplies
• Field mapping and SWAT mapping
• Cultivate positive business building relationships with our customers in the farming community
• Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner.
• Assist with field trials
• Assist in organizing grower meetings and events #LI-LP1 #LI-LP1

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary education in agriculture
• 1 - 3 years of related experience in a related field and a passion for agriculture
• High level of integrity and accountability and ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as a team to support the sales operations at the branch level
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to work variable hours due to seasonal nature of the business
• Proven communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
