RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do:
• Production Support - Rotate through various areas of the sawmill to assist in production processes, including material handling, sorting, and supporting machine operators.
• Material Handling and Maintenance - Lift, pull, and pile materials to maintain continuous production flow and ensure accessibility for production teams.
• Safety Adherence - Follow safety protocols and participate in safety training to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Quality Assurance - Conduct basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and report discrepancies.
• Team Collaboration - Work closely with your team and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain smooth operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
What We're Looking For:
• No prior experience required - This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the forestry industry.
• High School Diploma or GED - Basic educational requirements to get you started.
• Physical Fitness - Ability to lift, pull, and pile materials in a physically demanding environment.
• Positive Attitude - Must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and work well in a team setting.
• Commitment to Safety - A strong focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols.
