Job Description:

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with a reputation for impeccable customer service. In their role they will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage and Parking lot team who are based out of our Deer Lodge location. The supervisor will be responsible for training, motivating & providing direction to employees to ensure exceptional customer service is provided on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, direct & motivate all employees
  • Training of new employees in departmental procedures, expectations & safety
  • Complete scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Proper use of '3 stage Disciplinary Procedure' with assistance from Management.
  • Meet or exceed labor, inventory & cost control targets dependent on levels of business
  • Daily inventory & stock control reports
  • Ensure a positive guest experience by catering to the needs of all guests sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically & professionally
  • Create a positive employee experience through training, encouragement & ongoing development
  • Ensure cleanliness & maintenance of outlet at all times
  • Regularly communicate with other outlets/departments to ensure the overall success of the Food & Beverage department & the resort as a whole
  • Daily liquor & stock ordering
  • Ensure quality of product & services offered at all times
  • Professional & regular communication with Food & Beverage Management team
  • Assist with payroll tracking, completion of administrative duties & other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-5 years Supervisory experience in Food & Beverage is required
  • Highly organized & detail oriented
  • Displays a consistent positive attitude & dedication to the team's success
  • Self-motivated; can work well in a team as well as independently
  • Able to work & make decisions autonomously
  • Able to identify problem areas & implement solutions with the assistance of Management
  • Proven ability to exceed targets & improve results in all areas
  • Excellent customer service skills & highly professional manner
  • Experience with Maitre'D POS System an asset
  • Knowledge & adherence to FoodSafe legislation
  • ProServe certification & working knowledge of AGLC legislation
