One of our food Processing client in Winnipeg , MB is looking for a Industrial Mechanic for their facility.
Shift - Night
Roles And Responsibilities –
- Conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on all production machinery, which encompasses high-speed packaging lines, conveyors, pumps, motors, kettles, and various other processing equipment.
- Consistently identifying, reporting, and addressing equipment issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives, including evaluating, recommending, and implementing modifications to minimize equipment breakdowns and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and promptly completing work order paperwork.
- Overseeing the production process to guarantee compliance with Good
- Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Hold a Millwright 433A or Electrician 442A license.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a production or industrial mechanic, preferably within the food or packaged goods industry.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and operating a lathe machine; basic experience with Mig and Stick welding is also required.
