Job Description

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Trainer to design and lead a groundbreaking sales training program, fostering skill development and high performance across our North American sales teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales training professional who is ready to take ownership for designing and delivering a fulsome sales training program at a fast-paced organization embarking on exciting change!

As a seasoned Sales Trainer, you will focus on the on-boarding, training, and skill development of our various sales teams globally. You will be responsible for designing the training strategy, gaining input and buy-in from key stakeholders, and executing and managing the overall delivery. In this role you will focus on overall effectiveness and change management with the goal of maximizing revenue, speed to success, and customer service across all OFX markets. By mentoring and coaching salespeople, designing individual and team training courses, and preparing educational material, you will play a critical role in helping our salespeople develop their skills and achieve their individual and all team goals.

What you'll do:

Work with Global Head of Sales Operations & Enablement to develop the annual sales enablement and sales training strategy to position OFX to meet and exceed sales goals through the performance of the sales team.

  • Prepares new sales representatives by conducting orientation to the sales process, develops individual coaching plans, provides resources and assistance, and schedules orientation drive-along with senior representatives.
  • Develop and maintain educational material including presentations, product training, documented processes, playbooks, sales scripts, and case studies
  • Design training courses, both live and self-led, which include validation methods via role-playing activities and job simulation
  • Build, collaborate on, and maintain a library of cadences, templates, quick text/snippets, triggers, and workflows to allow the Sales Team to respond to Prospects quickly and more consistently. Lead Sales Engagement content creation initiatives and messaging.
  • Gather feedback on all training programs from trainers, managers, and employees and collaborate with managers to evaluate employees' post-training performance
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management to assess business needs to provide recommendations on training plans and programs to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Track training and coaching activity, record key metrics, ensuring that audit trail and training history is complete and up to date
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Effectively work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure all policies and procedures are properly covered in all training material and programs.
  • Develop and leverage sales enablement technology to store updates and make available all training material
  • Drive the development of standardized review templates for team leaders and managers for performance reviews.
Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Experienced developing a sales training & development strategy
  • Strong experience as a sales coach, sales trainer, or similar role with a variety of sales positions and levels of experienced employees
  • An ability to motivate, manage, and influence direct and indirect teams of employees across multiple functions, locations, and cultures
  • Adept at working as both an individual contributor and in a leadership role, creating an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and a cohesive team effort
  • Experience in a sales or customer service position
  • You are natural at building relationships. People work with you because they want to and trust you because you do what you say you will do.
  • Thorough understanding of sales techniques that a proven track record of results
  • Experience creating presentations and materials (e.g. videos, slides, documents)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people
  • Problem-solving skills

The salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 CAD. Exact salary offered will be dependent on multiple factors including level of experience, job-related knowledge, skills, work location, etc. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a variable bonus and/or commission.As part of the compensation package, benefits are also offered for all full-time roles and part-time roles working a minimum of 24 hours a week.
