We are seeking a skilled SMT Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines, such as pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens. The SMT Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining SMT equipment to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). Responsibilities: Set up SMT machines according to production schedules and engineering specifications. Load electronic components, solder paste, and PCBs onto the machine feeders. Monitor the SMT assembly process to ensure proper component placement, soldering, and reflow. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on SMT equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished PCBs for defects and quality issues, making adjustments to machine settings as needed. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any process or product-related issues. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as an SMT Machine Operator or similar role in electronics manufacturing. Proficiency in operating SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities. Basic computer skills.
