Quality Assurance Technician REPORTS TO: Manager, HACCP & Quality Assurance We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Quality Assurance team! Our Quality Assurance Technician will help us ensure all our products meet regulatory, internal, and customer requirements. This is a very exciting time as you will get a chance to learn our unique processes and techniques and champion quality assurance for one of the leading brands! Some of the main challenges include staying organized in a fast-paced environment and effectively coaching production staff while demonstrating consistency and follow-through. At the same time, this provides the opportunity to support, maintain, and achieve high-quality standards for our delicious, plant-based products! You are passionate about quality assurance and proud to be the champion of quality You enjoy solving problems by analyzing data and investigating issues You are able to lead, instruct, and communicate company and regulatory standards to employees You understand HACCP concepts and processes (training in HACCP) You have intermediate level Excel, Word, and Outlook skills You have a Degree in Food Science or related discipline You have experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food production facility You have experience troubleshooting complex QA issues Ensure products meet company and regulatory standards by running tests, inspections, reports and more Help manage all QA and QC records, documents, and samples pertaining to HACCP, BRC, CFIA, etc. • Support with writing and improving standard operating procedures Effectively communicate quality control expectations to employees and support with training for GMP's You are willing to work flexible shifts to cover for vacations, sick days, or leave if required You must be available to work shifts that rotate every 6 months: We offer our team members many benefits to help them achieve their goals and support our company culture: Performance Bonus and RRSP Matching Fitness incentive fund to help you thrive Company social events focused around health, great tasting food and getting together as a team Please check us out on Facebook , Instagram , and YouTube #
