What You Will Do

The Sales Coordinator manages and coordinates the day-to-day short term consignment Orthopaedic requests as well as trial requests from the Endoscopy, Instruments, Medical and NV Sales Force. This position is responsible for ensuring all short-term consignment and capital demonstration inventory is properly recorded in the ERP system as well as the timely and accurate return of all field assets . This position will support the commercial teams by providing excellent customer service through supporting all short-term and capital demonstration equipment requirements, ensuring all inventory needs are delivered accurately and on time. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Sales Support team while championing Stryker's Mission and Values.

Functional Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for Sales Representatives calls regarding implants, instrumentation, disposable, and capital demonstration equipment required for surgeries and evaluations

  • Responsible for the accurate input of all surgical and trial equipment requests into the ERP, ensuring each surgery and trial request arrive accurately with no negative impact to surgery

  • Has the ability to research, analyze, and make an independent decision on best pathway(s) to move forward on a request.

  • Coordinate assets to cover requests with loaner and capital demonstration equipment for surgery, demonstration purposes, trials, and evaluations

  • Assisting with troubleshooting and providing emergency information intra-operatively

  • Responsible for the sales trials and short-term consignment schedule, communicate shipment details daily to DC and Kitting Teams

  • Ensure best-in-class service levels and response times through best-in-class response times for emails, and the timely processing of order entry & product delivery on all equipment orders

  • Educate sales teams on all trial /short-term consignment program specifics ensuring understanding of program expectations

  • Responsible for logistics of disposable, capital demonstration equipment, instrument and implant loaner kits deliveries for surgery and evaluations

  • Accountable for the accurate record keeping of disposables, capital demonstration, loaner inventory and instrumentation in the field

  • Responsible for the accurate maintenance of short-term inventory in-field, including the retrieval, invoicing, and movement of inventory to long term consignment

  • Communicate specific details on delinquent field assets with department as well as both internal and external customers as required.

  • Research and correct order (inventory) issues for short term and capital demonstration equipment

  • Timely execution of rush shipment requests during high intensity situations, including patient on the OR table scenarios

  • Supply literature, samples and promotional materials where needed

  • Assist sales force with pricing requests

  • Creation of CER's providing analysis of on hand stock where necessary

  • Optimize assets through providing proactive analysis to appropriate commercial business partner

  • Coordinate special product requests working with the US custom team and RAQA where required

  • Foster the cultural discipline for continuous improvement by identifying opportunities & implementing solutions to improve product quality & process efficiency, reduce waste, & drive team engagement.

  • Actively participate in team and company meetings

  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Supply Chain/Logistics/Operation knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral

  • Superior time management skills, ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple functions while meeting daily deadlines and ensuring a high level of focus on detail and accuracy

  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently in fast paced environment

  • Demonstrated customer service skills, including the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with field-based customers via telephone and e-mail to continuously drive customer satisfaction

  • Experience with Oracle is an asset

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an asset

What You Will Need

  • Degree in sciences/supply chain OR 3 years relevant work experience

  • Experience in the medical field is an asset

  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
