Dental Assistant Level II

Job Summary

Established dental office for over 30 years is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant Level II to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with experience supporting various dental procedures and providing excellent patient care. As a Dental Assistant Level II, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, assisting with complex dental treatments, and delivering exceptional service to our patients. Your expertise in dental technology, patient communication, and clinical support will contribute significantly to our practice's success and reputation.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all supplies are available.
Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Abeldent
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients to promote optimal care and recovery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by adhering to sterilization protocols and infection control standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role within a busy dental practice.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Certification in dental assisting from an accredited program
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $20.82-$34.84 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 - 35.0 per week
