Our client, an industrial organization specializing in steel, lumber, and construction materials, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse and logistics support team. The ideal candidate will have attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Vaughan, ON

Pay Range: $25.82/hour

Shift: Day Shift transitioning to Continental shifts (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM)

What's the Job?

Safely operate Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, propane-powered, and electric-powered forklifts
Load and unload trailers, flatbeds, and transport trucks
Handle materials and loads weighing up to 1,000 lbs
Move steel, lumber, building materials, and finished products throughout the yard and facility
Perform outdoor yard work if/when needed for short duration

What's Needed?

Valid Forklift Certification
Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience
Experience operating Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, electric, and propane-powered forklifts
Experience handling heavy loads
Reliable transportation to Vaughan
