Inventory Material Handler/Reach Truck Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing and logistics organization, is seeking a Inventory Material Handler/Reach Truck Operator to join their team. As a Inventory Material Handler/Reach Truck Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting production and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inventory Material Handler/Reach Truck Operator

Location: Markham, ON

Pay Range: $24/hr-$25/hr

Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM:
Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Duration: 1- or 2-month contract

What's the Job?

• Operate a reach truck to move, put away, and stage parts in racking and designated locations
• Put away inbound and production materials accurately and efficiently
• Scan all transactions using RF scanners to ensure inventory accuracy
• Pick and kit parts based on work orders, production requirements, and bill of materials
• Support cycle counts, location audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives

What's Needed?

• Experience operating a reach truck; current certification or ability to obtain/recertify before independent operation
• Comfortable using RF scanners for inventory transactions
• Ability to read work orders, labels, and location information accurately
• Reliable attendance and strong safety focus
• Experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or high-volume parts warehouse preferred
