Financial Analyst Solus Trust Company

A Financial Analyst at Solus Trust Company supports financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making within a regulated trust and wealth management environment. Working closely with finance, trust administration, operations, and leadership teams, the Financial Analyst analyzes financial data, prepares reports, monitors performance, and provides insights that support accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and performance metrics.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Analyze revenue, expenses, and operational trends to identify opportunities and risks.
Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations to management.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership teams.
Monitor key financial indicators and support business performance tracking.
Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and business teams on financial initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation and data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, banking, wealth management, or financial services.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a regulated financial environment.
