Junior Engineer w/ CADWorx experience

Mar-Quinn Industries Ltd. is a dynamic, privately-owned fabrication facility specializing in the design and manufacturing of oil and gas process equipment and CWB-certified structural steel components. We operate a flexible, team-driven environment and are currently looking to add a Junior Engineer to our growing engineering team.

This role is ideal for recent graduates or junior professionals seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced, custom fabrication shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and revise detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels, pig launchers, and structural steel using AutoCAD and CADWorx.
Assist senior engineers with design calculations and ensure compliance with ASME and CWB standards
Work closely with shop floor personnel to clarify drawings and ensure smooth fabrication processes
Support quality control documentation and engineering project files
Participate in project planning, design reviews, and process improvements
Regularly communicate with clientele

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
1-3 years of experience in a drafting or junior engineering role
Proficiency in AutoCAD (CADWorx or equivalent is an asset)
Familiarity with ASME Section VIII and CWB standards is an advantage
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on, shop-integrated role
