Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS.
Deliver orders to tables efficiently while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations for menu items, including upselling specials and promotions.
Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction with food and service.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during peak hours.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service operations and guest satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
Knowledge of sanitation practices in a kitchen environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$19.04 per hour
