Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Superintendent in managing day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Support the coordination of trades and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Assist in managing the project schedule and track progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained, including site reports, safety logs, and inspection records.
- Provide support in resolving site issues and addressing project-related challenges as they arise.
Skills and Experience:
- Construction Expertise: Proven experience in managing or supporting low-rise residential construction projects.
- Leadership: Ability to assist in leading teams on-site and collaborate effectively with subcontractors and trades.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, trades, and external parties.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction or site supervision, with a focus on low-rise residential projects.
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
