We are partnering with a professional services firm in Vancouver and seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their People & Culture team on a 14-month maternity leave contract. This role plays a key part in full-cycle recruitment across both accounting and corporate functions, from early-career hires to experienced professionals.
Main duties:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including proactive sourcing, strategy development, and candidate management
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and tailor recruitment plans accordingly
- Build talent pipelines and engage both active and passive candidates (primarily via LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Drive campus recruitment initiatives, attend networking events, and support early talent programs
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote the company's employer brand and enhance onboarding efforts
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle corporate recruitment
- Strong familiarity with ATS platforms (BambooHR is a plus) and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple internal relationships
- A passion for early talent development, employer branding, and proactive hiring
